I’m trying to put a decal on a material (a pizza box) that needs to be a seperate UVunwrap (using 3Ds max)
what is the best technique?
using a VRayBlendMtl with the base being the pizza box and the first coat being the logo with a mask for the blend amount, with both channels set to 2 (and then having 2 unwrap modifiers with the box in channel 1 and decal on channel2)
a composite material with the VRayMtl for the pizza box as a base and the Mat.1 a VRayMtl with the decal
a VRayMtl with the Defuse map being a Composite map where the base is the pizza box and the decal is in layer 2 with a uvmap channel of 2 (and its mask)
I seem to have a issue with using the VRayBlendMtl, i cant seem to use seperate UVunwrapping channels for it.
