Is there anyone here who knows how to create gold shader for VRay Maya?
You’d probably be able to pull it off starting with a car paint material. Not a direct solution, but have you checked out spot3d.com? That might be a good a starting point.
To axalon Thanks for the info this will be very helpfull for newbies like me also I was able to score a shader library from Ultrasonic’s plug-ins and Paul Dreisen’s awesome site
start with diffuse color: r29 g25 b11 and reflection color: r226 g187 b106 and you are already on a good way
