Hi!
This is my situation:
I got a large industrial building (hall) and I’m doing an interior visualisation.
Now we got some nice large windows on the roof through which the sun is shining inside and producing very nice direct illumination on the floor.
Well…the customer doesn’t want that direct illumination on the floor, and wants a uniform diffuse lighting in the hall.
Now I think I remember some checkbox somewhere with a name like :[ ] direct illumination.
Is there anything like that? I’ve tried excluding the floor from illumination through the sun, works quite well, but the floor isn’t producing GI anymore so the ceiling gets darker. Now I don’t want to place extra floor geometry in the scene just for GI, isn’t there any way with one object to exclude from direct illumination of one light but still produce GI?
