Vote for the next UGAC

#62

Awww… I wanted bridges!

Oh well, anything is good as long as I get to model stuff!

#63

Sea creatures do that to you eh? Would they classify and an insect?

#64

I was thinking we could get two/three concept artists from the other subforum to do us a level concept (one from each of them, so we have 3 to choose from) and have us ugac artists model and texture an environment from that…
since the insect idea has got so popular we should do that for this one and my idea for the next maybe?

#65

GLandolina, that would be a cool way to do it some time, but not show your WIP until the final submission. That would make it a boring one to watch, but fun for those who join in.

#66

I really have a great idea of what insect to model.

Lets get some action started

#67

Yes, I’d say that the winner is clear enough to start this thing running.

#68

Come oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooon!

#69

Actually by the looks of things I will be finishing off my latest character just in time for this to start. Haha, no complaints here.

#70

Ok

So, its decided that Insects will the next subject...
So what does everyone think the tech-specs should be (poly-limit, ect.)

:curious:

#71

Depends what kind on insects, are we doing individual realism, or won’t-kill-your-comp swarms, or huge mechanical, or what?

#72

I’m all for a 1500 poly limit, and 512² texture map.

#73

I like the sounds of that.

#74

I dont think we should start it for a couple more weeks though.

#75

Bazooka Tooth: dude you gone insane!? lets start tomorrow!!

the voting took long enough as it is…

#76

yeah I was just talking chit

#77

Quoted for agreement…

#78

My poly finger is itchy.

#79

Bring it on! taps foot impatiently

.

#80

Im all set and ready to go have we hammered out the particulars yet (poly count, maps, ECT)
I agree with Supervlieg 1500 tris 2x512. What do you think about a requierment For the Final the character or insect in this case should be in some kind of pose?

Congats to the winners!
