visibility problem

#1

Hi folks,

I have some trouble with modo visibility, when i’m too much close geometry, i cant view point and polygons any more … for lightwave users, i should increase “grid side” to fix it … but in modo ?
And when i zoom too much i cant view anythink …

Thanks a lot for help !

Yeah…I’ve found that when you zoom in sometimes, it starts to dissappear…In LW I’m able to zoom in MUCH further…I await replies to this thread!

I think that might come from your object size or default unit… if it’s too small when Zoom reaches size such as ‘100 um’, it can’t go any further… just a hunch!

I also noticed that if you change that ‘Default Unit’ from Meters to kilometers, you can actually go further so that might be something around there

The ripper.

modo allows you to zoom in to very tight levels, if you have your cursor over the geometry that you’re zooming in on… If you have it off of the geometry, it will clip, so try putting the cursor over a poly, vert or edge and zooming in that way

size of defaut unit ratio and size of object don’t change anythink, like in lightwave modeler, you can zoom until a limit then zoom is blocked.
In lightwave you can then until this limit, in modo until the middle of limit … strange thing.

see this new feature in 102 :

“Viewport Zooming now does not clip geometry”

I can’t select my points closer axis to set value them at “0” before miroiring … =(

bug then ?
