vines animation

hi… i been trying to search the vines rigging in this forums. can any one know how to rig the vines in maya.i want to do similar ANIMATION witch is in the link below…iam new to rigging i wanted to learn the vines rigging and to do animation, any tutorials to buy or free would be great…please give me any suggestion.
