views and visits

I noticed that the number of views are the same as the number of visits.
Is it he same? I think it’s a bit confusing :slight_smile:
When I click, let’s say 3 pics, in somebody’s portfolio he/she gets 3 views, but it’s only 1 visit.
I think there should be a distiction between views and visits. Or report just only the visits.
When I see “Visits to your portfolio since your last visit: 3” and see that that adds to 3 views, I get a bit confused.
Did the people only looked at the first image (I guess so, cos views and visits are the same) or did they looked at my other pics too? I like to know :slight_smile:
Maybe add a “Views to your portfolio since your last visit:…”
Oh and someone leaving a message in you guestbook without viewing your gallery, should add to visits and not to views.

What do you guys think?

I was curious to know if it counts as views your own views of your own Gallery. I would assume so, but it would be interesting to know.
