Viewing triangle count

is there a way to view triangle count in mudbox?

you should see it in the object list and every time you step a level up or down… mudbox is counting quads…

i know its counting quads but there is no option to count tris?

1 quad = 2 tris

i know that but sometimes I have alot of tries and ngons which I try to avoid

Yeah it just counts a face as a face.

I am not sure how to view this in Mudbox but it is fairly routine in 3D apps so that is the place to catch it I think.

yeah all apps seem to have the options to count just about anything these days,mudbox needs this feature. its not terribly important but it is important depending in the scenario you find yourself in
