Viewing a person's gallery

#1

When viewing a person’s gallery…

E.g:
http://digital_bobert.cgsociety.org/gallery/

  1. What happens if there are more than 14 gallery images? How do you see the rest?

  2. When viewing a gallery image:
    http://digital_bobert.cgsociety.org/gallery/168360/
    How do you go back to the person’s gallery? It seems that you can no longer click the “Gallery” tab anymore.

If you’re viewing an image in the gallery, you’re already in the gallery, the link is superfluous.

#3

So you’re saying that there’s no gallery ‘home’ per se?

Not really; If you don’t select an image to view it just shows the first image (which is part of the reason you can order them) But clicking on the first image in the gallery, is the same as visiting the gallery itself.

Why is it that everytime I try to view Bobby’s gallery I get the CGTalk maintenance page?

http://digital_bobert.cgsociety.org/gallery/

This link?

I can see it, although, the servers have been a little clogged up this morning.

#7

Yes, that link. I was looking through the galleries and flagging some of my favorites but Bobby’s gallery always sends me to the maintenance page (even though other member’s galleries loaded fine).

… still does BTW. :shrug:

Awesome! a random error i can’t replicate! :slight_smile:

I’ll see what I can do :slight_smile:

Here too, but only with IE6. On Opera it works fine.

I have the same problem viewing http://digital_bobert.cgsociety.org/gallery/ and also my gallery portofolio http://ady_c.cgsociety.org althrough I set to active all my portofolio features and uploaded my work into gallery.
With IE when I try to view this links, I get the CGTalk maintenance page.
Others links are working well. Maybe Ive missed to enable some features of my portofolio ?.. :sad:

It’s a bug in IE … and it’s STILL a bug in IE7 :S

#12

Ok, it’s an IE issue, and we can’t do anything to fix it;

The result is that usernames are now limited to alpha-numerics and hypens only;
