very slow wings3d performance on 3 ghz dualcore nvidia 7600gt

I have a fresh system with 2 gb ram+winxp and specs above. But wings3d is running very slow, my laptop which is 3 years old has better wings3d performance than my fresh system. Does anyone have any idea why that would be the case? For example 1500 polygon model
is slowing down highlighting items. It takes half a sec to highlight an edge.

what ver of wings do you use ? , wings uses only one proc.
Try to instal v 0.98.30 or last stable :slight_smile:

0.98.34 this is the one i use, i also tried 33. I will try .30 now

It was the 91.28 nvidia beta drivers clearly causing this slowdown. But only wings3d was affected by that driver.
