WOW, incredibly good man, I am not a car guy at all, but I respect your modeling more than anything, it’s incredibly clean.

Thank you guys for comments.
There are the last updates (I’m not going to do interiors), from now I’ll spend my time for rendering.

Very nice clean modeling there. To bad its not anything but rhino lol. Not a big fan of it.
Wow, respect, it’s just too nice to see. Great curves and clean topology.
unfortunately, it was modeled by rhino not by Maya, I haven’t seen anyone modeled that well in Maya. it’s quite frustrating thing to see.
in total3d.com there’s a tutorial about the same car like yours. Did you make that tutorial or did you learn from it?
To model an industry vehicle , NURBS is almost a must to create good quality. but it’s too difficult to do. I am fighting now in Maya.
Cheers. keep it up.
No, I haven’t wrote any Nurbs tutorial and I learn Rhino by myself.
Here are some shader’s test:

very nice was it difficult setting uip up the curves also what how are you exporting the mesh or curves?
I’m exporting nurbs surfaces and then set up MR Tesselation, it works great.
Ah, I use STEP & IGES for exporting from Rhino to Maya.
cough 3d total maya section cough
And dammit I have a z4 on the go and it looks nowhere near that good or that clean…way to ruin my dreams by making yours so much better…>:(
That’s extremly a good and a clean model! Your detail-level is amazing…
Enjoying wathching it

Very fine modelling! This was one of the work that inspired to start with NURBS instead of poly. I’m fairly good with NURBS now but the filleting work is so hard!
I wonder if you actually use the Fillet or FilletEdge function or you manually fillet most of your edges? That’s because filleting is the worst thing to be done especially on complex edges but everything on your model looks just fine.
yeah !! ! ! all is good for u , nice modeling, very fine, i 'm like yours modeling technique
the nursb/wire are perfect . . . .keep it up. .
Thanks guys
For HDRI I’ve used Maya IBL and Use Background shader, works very good!
Here are some updates:

Ralliart exhaust on a BMW? hmm… according to their catalogue they only do Mitsubishi;)
Extremely good work on all the modeling, though, it’s top notch:thumbsup:
absolutely terrific modeling, hope the rendering can keep up to that level. But its starting to look good already so i have no doubt this will become a killer.
Thanks you guys.
racer_f50, do you think that Ralliart is a bad idea? Which brand do you want me to use? :wavey:
Nice to see you’re still on it.
Btw, how did you fillet most of your parts? All just by FilletEdge?
