[Vehicle] - BMW Z4 by Dias
Thanks
The lights were very painfull, there are all modeled. :hmm:
If you wanna know how I made one in particular I can explane it.
Here are some prefinal renderings, tell me what do you think (I’ve added a little noise in Photoshop).

dude, I love your shaders with the blurry reflections. How do you get that blurry reflection effect? I’ve been trying to figure it out but I can’t get it.
This is really amazing, I love the ralli-art exhausts on the BMW!
I think a Z4 M-Powered version would look very similar to something like this! Any chances of seeing what’s under the hood?
hi… i would sugges slightly blurring the car since the image is a lil blurred
makes it look more real…
play with PS a little.
its amazing anyways
wow…cool,i’m gonna buy this Car…yeah…that’s it,The Blur thing should work well
and Yeeees…i’ll be happy and grateful if u explain the lights:bounce:
.
hey dias im gettin more into rhino an car design do you have a spicific work flow that you follow
as far an creating the curves , i was studing your curves to get an idea of your process you have any more wire frames we could take a look at would be greatly Appreciated. great work
cheers
Great work, you are making progress by leaps and bounds
one question, any tutorial u know about this type of rendering, i mean putting a car in a 2d scene or HDRI?
I know things theoratically, still working on my new car model, and i plan to do final renderings like this.
Any tutorial, or a small illustration, how i can achieve this thing.
Oh m8!!! That´s awesome. Perfect materials, lights, render… well… now u can create interior
that’s great dias, Really great…also more believable, in one word, It Rocks:buttrock:(maybe that would be counted as 2:D)
Thanks for reply
As far as my modeling tecnique concerned, well, it’s difficult to explane. On first pages you can see some wire screen, and try to see this link:
http://www.carbodydesign.com/software/rhino-tutorials.php
And for HDRI, as I’ve explaned pages before, I’ve simply used Maya’s IBL and Use Background plane.

Thanks for comments
There are some rendering that will be my final stuff (well, fnal renderings will be at 1600x1200).

Great model ! It looks fantastic , but I have one critics. Your background photos are quiet blured and car is rendered sharp. If you sharpened photos, it will be look more realistic. It is only little help, for make it bit more realistic.
I mean this, this is your image image with blured map.

and there is background more sharpen ![]()

and mabye you use some color and glow efgfect like this

It is only my idea, keep on rocking :wavey:
Argh, I like the last “glow” version, how did you do that? :bounce:
Seriously, I can’t find any glow filter inside Photoshop. -_-’
For the second one, well, yeah, I think it looks much better. In the first picture I’ve blured the car a little to make it similar to background, but I see that Sharpen filter works very well. ![]()
Thank you for your help
the glow effect is usually achieved by duplicating the base layer, then blurring the top layer (a lot), making it either “screen” or “overlay” and then playing with the opacity of the layer.
