Do vector displacement maps from Zbrush even work with Maya’s MR?
None of the diagnostic mesh objects are even remotely spherical, and they’re all slanted and warped:

The texture color space is set to raw (same results if color management is turned off). I’ve seen people pointing at 7, 9 or 11, but they’re not coming out spherical here. There’s no change between object space and world space. The output is different depending on whether UV smoothing is on when generating the diag, but it’s wrong either way.
