Modelled & Rendered with Electric Image

I always wanted to Model & Render a Car, but I never could decide which Car, until I saw The Carver on BBC TopGear [Then I knew I wanted to make The Carver. Ok, maybe it’s not technically a car, but is definitely a Cool vehicle!

A few weeks ago, I was between two projects, and had some time to spare, so started to build the Carver. I could not find technical drawings, but luckily there were lots of photographs on their website: url=http://www.carver.nl.

I wanted to render an image that would fully focus on the Carver, that’s why I chose not to use a background.

My next project had started, just before I finished the Carver. In a few late nights sessions I finished the model, and rendered this Image. The next time, when I have some time to spare, I will try to Animate the Carver.

awsome model, i think that shadows needs to be improved, the car looks weigthless, maybe in a actual enviornment it would look good. As for the model its one of the best I have ever seen good job with the texturing.

Wow, I like this one, It’s even better than the real one! It look’s like a Jet Fighter on wheels, It makes me want to drive this baby.
And I think the shadow is OK in this ‘environment’. Beautiful is the reflection of the suspension coil on the other side of the front wheel, I only knew what it was when I saw a photograph on the Carver site

Did you make this model in the Electric Image Modeler???

Hi iKKe. My name is Ian Bruce with CarverUS in California. We’re planning to be manufacturing a version of the VanderBrink Carver for the Chinese and US markets. We were very impressed with your work, and wanted to get in touch with you for some possible CGI work. Have a great day. – Ian Bruce
