Hi all, this is my first attempt at really getting a model done. Inspired my SG-A I decided to make my own puddle jumper. I will try to be as straight forward as possible. I’m using 3DS Max 2012 64bit.
Now the problems I have found but can’t find fixes for, if they need fixes, are;
In Polygon object mode I see 149 Flipped UVW faces.

In UVW Unwrap level I see 748 Flipped UVW faces.

Why is the stretching so messed up and will that matter on final rendering?
Second issue i’m having is in the UVW Unwrap window. Here you can see that most of my faces are inverted. When I try to flip or rotate these faces and stitch they are messed up and impossible to make sense of.

Lastly when I pack these faces that are already set and organized one of the panels/facesets seems to disappear completely and renders as a blank face, as seen on the 3D image.

So are these issues fixable or are they necessarily bad?
