UV Texture Mapping? (ZBrush=>Maya)

Good day people!

Have a problem with texture (UV) ZBrush=>Maya

The layout of the file (exported one from ZBrush) is this one http://t1m.biz/zzzzz.jpg

So when I’m trying to adjust this layout onto the .obj file in Maya…there is the problem.

The question in settings…I think it has to be Automatic Mapping…but what proper settings are???

You need to properly unwrap your object before you export your textures. Automatic mapping generally doesn’t do a great job on it’s own, but it could work. Once it’s unwrapped and layed out in maya export the obj and re-import it over the existing one in Zbrush, and it should project your sculpted detail and polypaint onto the new properly UVed model.
