UV scale script

Hi,
is it possble to write a script, that scales the uv coords of a selection of polygons or points to 50% at the center of the selection?
Anyone?
I tryed it myself to make such a macro but no luck yet…

I have the same problem… i need a script were you can scale uv-cordinates by numbers, not using the scale-tool.
