So Im developing a very experimental concept of using real-time rendering in game engines for production. I intend to apply my concept to Cryengine 2 or 3 sandbox. Now on the technical side I want to fully use these tools to produce a High quality film and use advanced visual effects, and digital filmmaking techniques used in practice today such as matte painting, compositing and various other methods to produce the desired effects without compromising any thing. Ive seen a small test concept showing a very small percentage of how next gen game engines can be a great asset in production. I would love any advice, speculation,or visual effects know how as to a idea on any unseen problems or roadblocks that might occur ahead of time that I might have to address thanks.
