using colored anisotropy map in Vray Maya?


Im working on an asset where I require to fake the fur, because of budget constraints. I was hoping someone can shed some light on how to achieve the anisotrophic highlights with direction, using Flow maps/ Direction map/ Comb map. I know you can paint those with Mari, but I have no idea how to use that with Vray. So far from my research, people have only used anisotropy for pots, cds and mainly metals. Any help is appreciated.
