Any other good references for the transition to 3.5? The interface itself seems a bit counter-intuitive, even for basic functions like exporting a normal map.

I found this link, and many useful tutorials are linked in it:

At the moment I am updating my z-link collection, migrated the old links together with all links that I collected the last years, into a modern, digg-like CMS. I´m going to redo the design while reviewing the links.

Beginners looking for hard edge tutorials, especially beginners, should check out BadKing He’s a top teachers and isn’t just demoing how smart he is with Zbrush. Check out his archives as there is some good stuff in there covering everything from ShadowBox masking to modelling a crazy looking gun.

Hey guys. Does anybody know where to download a complete Z-Brush reference/help, so I can check the use of any tool from a single source anytime, and not having to browse tutorials to find what I need to know?
I just love references, guys. Specially .chm files. But anything similar will do.

Hi All,

Over the last 6 months I’ve have been building a Zbrush Resource Site for everyone to use and giving away all that I can in regards to tutorials, ZBrush Models, Brushes, Alpha Maps, etc.

I thought I’d jump onto CG Society today and share some of the resources I’ve managed to put together.

Here is the link:

Please comment and let me know what you think or how I can improve the site.

You’re more than welcome, always happy to help where I can. Thanks for the comment. Cheers

I pushed a little more brightness and contrast of the scene, put a darker bluish and greenish at the scene in a very subtle, with a little magenta and yellow, made a uniformity with the warm and cool tones bringing an air of mystery to the scene. Once you hit all these details, applied a simple light effect in After Effects itself on two points: The first was on the left side of the image near the ear to simulate some volumetric light, the second point was above the cigar which intensified the light that had, thus simulating the sunlight.
