Attachments and the gallery are two separate things.

To submit work to the gallery, read the instructions here.

To place images, hosted on a site like photobucket or imageshack, into your posts, you need to use the forum’s BB code, using this syntax:

{IMG}http://www.yourhostsite.com/yourimagename.jpg{/IMG}

But use [] instead of {}.
