i used some camera shake as said my friend XminusOne.
this is a low resolution and opengl render but you can see the effect. (i hope…)

about 3 minutes per frame.
I have seen a part of this rendered scene… wooow it´s very cool…
some part rendered… (are rendered las frames now.)
I love the simple yet complex cartoon style !!!

Just a suggestion : you can maybe add some condensations strokes on the wings of the shuttle…Just a detail if you have time of course
