This is my animatic storyreel that I put together in order to get estimated shot length and feel for the whole piece. My entry is a 30 second trailer about an earthman who is competing in the Crater Race. He must beat Marzo who is the undisputed champion of the Crater Track.

For my final entry in the “Uplift Universe” competion I created a 30 second “Movie Trailer” for an imaginary film named “Crater Racers”. The premise of the story is that Astro Ben, is the first earthman ever to have entered the crater race competion. He is opposed by a martian named Marzo who will stop at nothing to see him lose.

This is my first CG Society Challenge. I hope to improve my skills by the time of the next competition. I enjoyed using XSI.
