Everybody else in this competition ahs been stuck on the bipedal-humanoid version of an alien! aliens should be feathered Ocotopi or something like this! When I worked on “Contacting Aliens” my wife bought me all sorts of books on fish and insects and sea anemone.
If you can work out texturing that gives a live creature feel, run with this!
