Hey peeples. I’m starting late. So here’s a nerdy alien being bullied by a large thick-headed human jock who’s about to give him the classic swirly.
A silly concept. An alien superhero… Neo-Batman or something…i’m not gonna go ahead with this but just thought i’d upload this cuz it was there.
A subway scene…i’ve never been on a subway on account of there aren’t any available here, so pardon me if it doesnt look anything like a subway interior.
I’m sorry for the nasty scribbles, these are all pencil sketches done under 10 mins. There isnt much time left so i’m gonna need a little help deciding which scene to do. I’m leaning towards either the subway scene or the invasion.
I would defently go for the subway concept. With the subway scene you have the opertunity to clearly depict your characters in an everyday situation. The invasion scene could easily become somewhat muddy where as the subway with it’s single perspective enhances the viewers focus. One thing though if you choose the subway concept, try sliding the perspective/focus point ever so slightly to the left or right so that is is not dead center. This might help in the perception of motion caused by the train moving forward.
Thanx Andreas. I also liked the idea of showing aliens and humans in a mundane everyday task. The composition will be fixed so that the vanishing point is to the side a bit.
Well after making the Neo-Ape (who i’ve tried to depict as a high-schooler) i thought of showing a high-school scene instead of a subway. I’ll be posting a quick sketch of the school scene in a couple hours along with the fixed subway sketch.
Incredibly crappy concept sketch, I’m not sure anyone will even understand anything. Well it just shows an idea i have for a school scene. The human dude is pushed by his friends to ask an alien girl out to the homecoming dance. Meanwhile the janitor is shrieking at the skateboarder for makin a mess.
