Few ideas but confused…

#3

Whats the confusion? I like the knife and fork in the robots hands. Very funny. If you need some inspiration, check out the inspiration link on the uplift page. Great start, glad to have you onboard.

#4

the first aracno-alien-robot model

#5

It seems you’ve just solved the mystery about the extinction of the dinosaurs! Great! he he.
Your sketch it’s funny and cartoony, but I think your 3D model i more realistic and dangerous. Will you be able to maintain the humor with such realistic models?

#6

Model the tips of the robots’ raised arms as built-in forks and knives…perhaps with backup sets. Built for efficiency.

#7

Very nice model, I like your style. Good to see some more humour in this competition. Best of luck!

#8

Hi guy, this will be an hard month for my pc.

[ul]
[li]sasquatch70: “knife & fork”…a good name for an alien restaurant  ;[/li][li]evengi: humor is my key lecture of this challenge, I hope the photoreal style maintain its funny meaning;[/li][li]FrankCSlimski: my idea is a swiss boxcutter instead of hands…perhaps;[/li][li]headtrip: tnx, humor my guide eh eh eh.[/li][/ul]
Hey, I’ve no understanded a thing about size format of finished picture, if someone can explain me:
3636 pixels wide and/or 2657 pixels high (landscape)…minimum high is 2657 or lower?

#9

Nice design on your robot character. I like the idea that the head can be retracted inside the body. It might be cool if it looked like the arms and legs could also fold in, and that it would then become a perfect sphere. But that is a minor detail. I like your idea as a whole, good luck in the contest!

#10

other implementations in to the robot model

#11

Very cool Robot-Model!

#12

Ok, this is a matte paint solution for developing the scene like the sketch idea posted.

#13

Another upload developing the alien idea. more organic shapes to absolve a survival atosphere in the scene.

#14

the mouth particular

#15

I’ve changed the dinosaur and its rule:
no a killer dino but a transporter dino.

#16

this is the human presence in the scene.
Now I’ve 3 characters and a matte…ok, at work.

#17

I’ve introduced the veicles, now I need to composite the alien and the human…

#18

Most important layers I’ve used in final composition

#19

this is my final image…good luck to all.

#20

I like the epic athmosphere… but it appears to me that in the composition many details glitters from all places and thus without accent the swivel-eye effect is acheaved. You need little color correction of the diferent stages if depth, but I think you know that.

With this potential composition I’m eager to see the final image. Have fun, and good luck.

some updates of final image
