Tree in which alien develops

A rough idea of what the final image will look like. A test to see what colours work well together

#5

nice concept. i like the mood and the colors.

#6

starting the final tree, long way to go

#7

I’ve started making the background. Scene takes place in a cave. A sun beam will be hitting the plant form the hole in the roof of the cave.

Hey Phillip, nice concept and first ideas. I think you will achive a great atmosphere and lighting with your concept, a bit on magic way  Good luck and waiting for more updates! Cheers mate!!

i started working on the floor of the cave as well as the roof. I finally added the beams of light, and a rough sketch of the alien inside the plant, although i,m not sure if the final thing will look it.

#10

just a few more things to do

Cool concept Phillip! My two suggestions, if I’m not too late, would be to make the alien bigger (to fill the liquid chamber) and some light blue bounce light on the walls and bottom of the cave.

#12

started making the alien, I added some effects to make it look like it’s under water

A newly discovered symbiotic organism. Mostly found in warmer climates, it can grow up to 15 meters tall. The animal inside is placed in the liquid chamber in its earliest stage of life and survives off of nutrients provided by the host. The tough liquid chamber provides the animal with a safe place to grow and develop. It is believed that the dependent organism may be the predominant species on the planet.
