yep, i wanted an old look for the entire piece with a single tone … although there are many shades n tints … i wanted to choose the one that was too saturated or less saturated … hope it worked :S … thanks again for visiting! good luck with the judging! :thumbsup:

IS difficult…is very very difficult write something about an image that hits me frome the very first line to the unbelivable final.
Is difficult to find a new way to express the absolute ammiration i have to the artist who made this piece of TRUE art… art in many ways…from the idea and the “extremely difficult to achieve” delicate mood that he given to scene…from the elegant colour palette,to the exquisite technique he perform till the end.
so…i leave myself of what was my first feeling about this work…looking at image in deep silence…wordelss…in admiration

Sorry it took me so long to get back to this thread. Been busy and stressed. lol Lost my life basically on a harddrive. Cant help but be depressed for a few days. haha well anyway im movin on baby!

Your last image is spectacular as usual! I love the backstory and the black fading in is a great touch and the textures are perfect! you are so amazingly talented friend!! :applause: 20,000 thumbs up!

Neville - Just wanted to drop in and say that I was extremely shocked to see your work not even recognized at the end of the competition. So I just wanted to say (again!) that you’ve done a fantastic job. Your work is always technically excellent, but the inclusion of a really emotional core truly pushed your work over the top this time compared to your previous entries. It’s a really wonderful piece - ironically your most human piece in a way - and I hope you’ll explore other emotional topics in future works. Great job and see you in the next Challenge (I assume!)

This is a great piece with a solid feel and plenty of emotion. It’s a pity it didn’t place although hopefully it will win something in the open categories (if that’s how it works!?) :slight_smile: Excellent work!
