That is possibly the cutest alien I’ve seen … adorable!

The models look great, I especially like the gelatine alien guy. very cool, looking forward to seeing it all come together. Good luck.

Wow Mike, your scene is realy coming together, i like the relaxed poses you’ve given your characters, especially the giant alian.
I agree. Really nice relaxed posing of the characters. That composition should work well with that sky background you did earlier. This is impressive progress
Thanks guys. I’ve playing around with the composition a bit moving the camera here and there. Things might still change up a bit before I’m done.
Ok, as I was working on my first idea I just wasn’t getting that WOW sensation I would like. So I’m going to try and change direction here mid stream and see if I can come up with something a bit more dynamic.
I may still finish my other idea just for fun sometime.
Along with the new direction I’m taking this image, I’m also creating a new alien that I think will better fit visually.
The big guy is awesome. I love the campfire scene, very relaxed, and very appealing. Great stuff man. Woodscross? Is that woodscross Utah?
Well, you’ve sure managed an eye-catching scene/composition! Great stuff. The alien looks a little bit like he’s at risk of toppling over the cliff edge too, but I guess that adds to the drama
Ok, seeing as how we still have about 20 or so days left, I am considering doing a complete overhaul of my characters to something more like this guy I did for the Daily Sketch forum.
The uniforms they are in now don’t seem to quite fit the situation they are in. I’d of course leave the helmet off.
Any thoughts?
Here it is, the final image. Hope it’s not too dark on most monitors.
I hope the image speaks for itself.
Finished already! Quite a twist in direction since my last visit but I think this works really well. The angle and the coloring makes it dramatic - and looks fine on my monitor.
Great work!
