this night i worked out the the first wasp

Bronwen, brad, thanks for your words!

#10

here is a little scene testing with the new insect

#11

i adjusted the shape of the wasp a little bit. thought it was a little bit to static. i think the new one is better.

#12

Your wasp looks great! Maybe you could have his stinger pointing towards the women, ready to plunge. It might put a little more peril into the scene.
Well that’s my two cents worth. Looks Great!.
Brad

#13

Wow, that wasp is impressive!

#14

Whoa, very cool scene!
For the wasp I suggest giving it a more ‘alien’ look, so it won’t just be a giant insect monster movie ^^

#15

mhhh, testing. rough sketching the scene … flipped the image, added color.

,…

#16

I like the change. It’s a little more focused.

#17

Yep, the latest one is impressive. I think it needs more urgency in the girl’s pose and expression, and also I’d say the main alien insect thing needs to be bigger in the scene and more threatening. Nice job so far, though.

#18

Looking good, looking good!

#19

Nice dynamics and compo. I agree Baron. What he says can really strengthen the composition and give it move dynamics. Good luck with your entry, I’ll be around.

Big thanks for your helpful suggestions and critique. i will work on this issues

#21

just a little update. refining the background. changed the size of the main wasp, girl with higher resulotion …

#22

It’s going to be good!
I like the motion of this scene!

I’m not professional, but if I can tell you something, be careful with the tilt of the motorbike, specially with its reflection on the road…

And try to accentuate more the speed with girl hairs.

I can not wait to see more!
good luck

#23

Real nice job so far wueste. Love the active flow of the scene. Real cool.

#24

I like the feel, the colour space and the motion of this image. The only small criticism I can make is that with the bikes huge lean angle, front wheel turned in, the clutch in and no hand on the throttle, there will be only one outcome to this scenario…the bike will low-side (fall over on it’s side) and she will come flying off, ready to be finished off by the insects. Maybe a bit less lean, and straightening the front wheels will complete the already great detail and realism you have already created. Just a small thing, that a biker will pickup. Besides that, great work and I can’t wait to see it progress!

#25

o yea, the swift movement is really eyecatching :O, really exciting work…great effort!!
