Hi everyone, been neglecting my thread for a while, Ive been pretty busy with work, socialising and getting my wisdom teeth removed! haha but I am getting back into this competition now.
I have my idea so now I am beginning to explore the visuals. This is some alien concepts. At the moment it looks fairly generic and demonish, I will probably try and move into another direction with it, maybe linking back to the jellyfish idea.
More to come soon.

WOW! Love all the sketches, they look all great! I like the new priest concept though the colors are good to reflect power in his personality, and I also think his role its easy to relate for an alien relationship after all his work field it open to many things possible! Hi everyone - well a quick update on my challenge - I have been very busy and distracted recently, and unable to work on this at all! I was ready to throw in the towel, but reading the encouragement here, maybe I should make one last stab at getting something finished, even if its not to the standard I would hope. SO, I think I will try and get something up there! Thanks to all for the words of encouragement.

Hello!
Im finally getting back on track. My initial idea was to go down the epic path, but when I doodled this I felt a more up close approach was visually stronger. So, I am developing the idea of the human priests who rely on the alien being to “uplift” them into new spiritual awareness. Still working out the story, but basically, the humans are worshipping the alien being as a god.

Back to your idea with the Alien God. I think helps lots they way you add the perspective but he looks a bit scary , so maybe I understand a bit of that also in his face, then again , fear does make people do crazy things as blindfold religious freaks! Hahaha! So that could be also the point!:wise:
