Uplift Universe - Image Entry: Gianluca Rondoni

#1

Gianluca Rondoni is entered in the “Uplift Universe Challenge” update: View Challenge Page

Latest Update: Final Image: swimming together

#2

I read many years ago Sundiver But still remember a scene where humans and dophins swimming together… Human with an exoskeleton (i’m not sure that is the right term). Well… this is my concept: human and dolphin swim into the silent ocean of other world…
the images are from a little old test motion, just for example.

bye.

And I like the idea. The only detail that needs thinkin over is the feet/tail. I mean if the tail is bent by the character’s feet - it should be bent to opposite direction. Or maybe it is autonomous - then maybe it’s worth to show some engine that accelerates and directs the exoskeleton?

#8

Nice work  in bocca al lupo

#9

uhm… I imagined that the exoskeleton boost the human movement like a dolphin and for this reason I added to the model five little wing stabilizer, I think that is credible but I’m not a engineer!! Thanks for the post
L.

p.s. sorry for my english…

How is it possible that you model so fast? I don´t understand it! You modelled all that in 2 days? WOW!

Wauw… I’m really impressed… its a cool idea and a nice design, and your so fast!

only crit (this might be my lack of imagination tho):
I’m having some trouble imagining how her legs/hips are placed, ofcause the space for them is there. but if she leans her neck back like she does and her hip bends backwards aswell, wouldn’t she be uncomftable. (when i look again, this only seems to be an issue on the latest image)
…again… I’t might very well just be me

Carry on…it looks awsome!

#18

gorgous concept, Lucar…seeing your entry for NVart, i think we are in for a treat.
