Some details of the virtual canvas.
Uplift Universe - Image Entry: David Revoy
Tranchefeux Hello, your painting is already quite advanced, architecture is sympathetic nerve, Good courage for the continuation.
Thanks a lot and good courage to you too.
Andy–Jones The twirl design on that mountain is gorgeous! I really like this. keep it up
Thanks, it took time to paint twirl like that , but with this kind of comments I don’t regret the time I spent on it.
js3d A beautiful alien place
Thanks, now as I read the other comments, I will add , a beautifull alien place without alien.
I will fix it.
MichaelZHsee looking good david, nice color choice,i like the organic like structure in the backgroundkeep it coming mate,i look forward to see more of urs
Hello friend ! Thanks for your encouraging comment !
jeromoo Hi David! Nice to see you again! I like the strange alien architecture. Perhaps you can depict human and alien in the foreground fishing in the river. One of them caught a giant alien fish!
I would really love it if you could expand the canvas further to show more of the gorgeous landscape, and have more depth in the elements as well.
Can’t wait to see your further progress!
Hello Jerome ! Your ideas are great, and that would totally fit with my landscape.
I will include your observations, cause they are wise. Thanks for the time you took to develop your ideas.
thebest I love this entry the environment really took me I`am going to use it as my background wallpaper
Oh oh ! thanks thebest. Maybe I should work the next resizing as a landscape to better fit with the wallpaper screen.
walrus Hi, Devad, good to see you here and wokring away again! The structure in teh background is really interesting! I’ve read your psots and it sounds like you’re thinking that is the Alien. It reads tight now more as a building… hence people asking you where the human/alien interaction is going to be. Having an alien be that size is tricky if people mistake it for a structure… maybe you could put in more clues. You may need to be less subtle than you may like to fit the rules of the Challange.
Oh, and I agree with Jerome about perhaps expanding the canvas more. I’l love to see more fo the scene myself too.
Good luck!
Hello Walrus ! I’m happy to welcome you in my humble wip thread
King of drawing and my best advicer. Your totally right , and I will expand the canvas ( I have to make some research to find the best way to make it larger , maybe 16/9 scene, or more square, I have to test ) And I will add some littles people too, and human/alien interaction more evident.
A foreground with character as a main focal would be surely interresting. Thanks again !
beautiful rendering, I hope you don’t mind me saying so but the composition has a Rodney Matthews kind of feel to it which is v cool.
This update is near my future final I think, but I will expand a bit larger.
I tweak a bit the colors, and add some layer on the top of my work to add some global shadows and athmospherics effects.
For the story of this picture, I thought of some aliens that could be feed with the polution and bad gaz in exange of pure water, great air and clouds. A great relation with human to grow them on all the planets to make them as heaven.
…
ok, lets dream to a fictive solution for against the polution and global-warming
how to make it a little more explicit ?
@ thebest
Ok Tony, I made some test about extending it as a 4/3 and 16/9 and it too risky for this piece. But I will made it larger.
@ scala
Bien parti if it was the theme about sci-fi landscape, but I think I’m a bit out of main subject, even if in the “inspiration gallery” there is less evident relationship than in mine about landscape. Thanks for your encouragement.
@ Pearlyking
Rodney Matthews , big honor comparaison !
I find this one :

There is the bridge, the structure , almost the waterfall … !
Thanks for the association of idea and your comment.
Well, to be honest I must to say that when i read the briefing i didnñt tought on this type of scenes, BUT ANYWAY IT IS SO BEAUTIFULL!!
I really like how this goes, congratulations, I can imaging what the people are cocking on the home. I would love to be there,
Arturo
WOW! This is just awesome! Very beautiful, Im stunned. To be honest I didnt expect it to be that good LOL, congrats, mate!![]()
I lke your story. t’s a great Idea, To make their ambinent cleaning process more evident I guess you’ll need to show some of the polution and that would mess up your beatiful landscape. That would be a tragedy
Anyway it’s an awesome picture, and I see it makes many people happy too, that’s great!
Wonderfull landscape…i like the colors… Interesting for me is to see what the interaction going to look like.
Hey. :wavey: Wonderful mood and colors. It looks very cosy
I like the ideas you have for it as well.
I love both concept and execution, the snail looks aces. Not so fond of the space ship for some reason, I kind of liked the boat better but I understand the cheesy point made… maybe some kind of butterfly to add to the perspective feeling instead? Very beautifl pic anyhow…
this is a beautiful environment concept . i don’t really read so easy the pollution idea . but maybe there is no need. maybe someone wasting trash that the snail eats somehow .i dont know .
Hi:wavey:,
I like the color and the environment, very beautiful and inspiring:thumbsup:
Good luck with the challenge
Bravo my friend!, I only have one comment as it is a wonderful image right now, maybe increasing the contrast between the ship and the environment, darkening it a little bit to detach it from the background. Each image I see from your oven is better than the previous one. Good work!
What a wonderful place for a picnic, can you take me there? You’ve got a nice little painting going on here keep the updates coming!
-love
Great and beautiful environment, although i haven’t seen the interaction in the picture yet.
