Uplift Universe - Image Entry: David Revoy
Hello CG-Friends,
I join this contest with the inspiration for a landscape, maybe a view of antother planet were both man an alien live peacely together.
Good Luck everyone.
Good to see you here buddy! Remember me from Journey Begins? I learnt a lot from just following your thread.
This is a good start, I like the colors in it. Your uplifting pallete fits this challenge perfectly!
Looks very promising. Not much too see yet, but it reminds me of a chinese ink painting. I like it.
Good luck!
Working around my first sketch without mind of technics, I want a solid composition.
The Alien could be a big organism, and human, just living with them.
HornlessUnicorn & GaeasHerald > Thanks for comments, now I have the link to your threads from your signature ( I will update my signature too ) . See you in your threads soon .
Wow I love the mood
Great idea! I`m looking forward to see more devloppements of this image. Good luck :bounce:
Start a bit of detailing the Alien concept, as a snail, I don’t want poeple recognise in it a mouth or an eyes. Just some organics part, that doesn’t look as knowing nature.
i like your painterly style, great colors to…i especially like the purple tint on the waterfall!
This looks great! Like an ancient and stable alien landscape. I like the colours and the snail concept very much.
Love the style and the mood created by your image. The reflections on the water look really good, and I love the colours.
I want to add a bit of life in the scene, and an idea of sci-fi illustration. The little space-ship can be a good way to manage a 2nd focal point on the other 1/3 - 1/3 of the picture.
The boat, may be some lover ? I find it now cheesy… I will certainly remove them in the next update.

Thanks for your comment, I hope not destroy with the WIP the things you like.

Thanks Paul4Wood, that’s really what I want to keep on this illustration.
HFix i like your painterly style, great colors to…i especially like the purple tint on the waterfall!
Purple tint is a happy accident due to Painter mixing color at the first sketch + photoshop balance correction. I will try to keep it. Thanks for your comment.
the enviornment is very beautifull whit those vibrant colors, the alien structures look promissing with all the twirls & details! If the ship belongs to the habitants of those buildings would be nice to see a connection in the design. nice effect on the water, great style!
looking forward
Nice design of the snail looking bit that is part or the environment. I haven’t read anything so I am assuming that it is part of the environment. I dig the colors. I think you can improve on your composition though. Maybe framing it will help it more, defining a definite forground. Remember to show that relationship between a human and an alien. Later. I will keep an eye on this thread as well. ![]()
A fast removing ‘n’ crop , now I feel better this illustration and first detailing pass, not a lot of change for the little Jpg preview, but a lot of cleaning and hours.
2835 x 3780 will be my final resolution.
OZ a very peacefull scene! Very very good!
Thanks, my aim is to bring to viewer a vision of peacefull sci-fi. I hope not destroy in the future of the wip.

Connection with Alien and human building as a relation is a great idea. I will develop it for sure. Thanks
