I have retopologized the model. I used as based a human mesh so it was a lot of streshing on head.
I have retopologized and proyect the detail to the new mesh.
After that I have began the texturing of it.
Hope you like it,

Oustanding work in such a short time! Amazing!
I cant say I agree with your take on the Neo-Dolphins in pretty much any way, but its exceptional work nontheless. Keep it up!
Cheers!
Nice work so far, I would like to see this one til the end. Keep up that great work. Sculting is working well. No crits thus far.
Your other alien also looks great! Reminds me of the martian chronicles or something the like. Arturo, what sofware do you use for these?
Cheers,
Dimitri.
TExture improving on head.
Please excuse if I´m not more explicit, not so much time this days. Dificult to make an update.
All the best,
Arturo

Pearlyking, morganvillette, RedThirteen and KOryH:
Thank you so much dudes!!
HornlessUnicorn: I use Zbrush 3.1 but I try to mimic the shader of Mudbox, honestly I hate the redwax default material of Zbrush.
I use to work with a base mesh of a human, or a box modelling mesh, rough the character, and after that retopolgy in Zbrush, and then finish the deatills and coloration.
grafixsuz: Hope to find the time to finish this complex scene, thank you for the coment.
TheRazorsEdge:
About time, I had a pretty clear idea of what I wanted. I have notice that when I go slower it is when I doubt about the look. Ususally, in my case, better to get a good idea and good references before sculpt.
Playmobil:
Thank you very much, every encoraging post help me a lot!!!
Trying to beging the sculpting of the temple, I gt with an idea that for me it is very cool. What about a expedition of aliens and human to the earth tounshed of years in the future, and with the help of the psiquic skills of the neo-dolphins get to recronstruct the Karnak tempe to study?
I´m thinking on a scene in wich will be a neo-dolphin in a cristla sphere full of water(to breath) in levitation is moving and building the old and destroyed parts of the temple? More over if he is able to fill the gaps with a “Holographic” image of what it was, while the rest of thepeople try to translated the hieroglyphics on the wall and columns?
For me it is better idea than the class room.
Let me know what do you think,
Arturo
Thanks everybody for the coments and I hope to keep posting very soon.
great characters you have here. Congratulations!! :applause:…have fun with the challenge.
this is just pro. it’s almost unfair. makes me wanna wish upon a star to be just as skilled as you. you’d better finish this crazy sh!+ and win! or else…i’ll cry.
Excellent character design and fantastic detail! ![]()
This has to be one of the favourites, can’t wait to see how it all comes together!
Great character designs and nice work on the alien anatomy so far! Looking forward to seeing how you pull them all togehter into a composition. Good luck!
Hello everybody.
Thanks for the coments,
Well, here is an update of the alien character.
I have a lot of doubts about the scene itself. It is true that maybe so much work to put all the character on background, so trying to imaging how to build the composition.
Probaly I will stop to sculpt and return to other previsualizations.
Probably when I will make the composition I will finish if necesary the feet
All the best everybody
