At this moment I only have the briefing of what I want.
Incially I would like to assume the challenge to design 4 diferent races at least.
1.- A human(not completly like us) thinking on a much longer civilization that ours, so it will be a little bit diferent.
2.- A ape client(maybe will be 2 races) race
3.- Good alien
4.- The badass alien
About the story line I would like to some refugees on a Cave or an old destroyed chamber.
They´re hiden there because some of the human and client races are trying to free this people from a cruel dictatorial alien race.
They would have to be inside a hiding place while the enemy is raking, but action beging when the enemy discover the place.
I think that that way I would be able to work a lot the light, and the actions of every character on the scene. It would be very important try to tell exactly the story with only one frame.
Actually now I´m working on the references for the image.

This is a pevisualization of the Neo dolphins. I have “antropomorphized” it. I not sure if in the books the Neo-dolphins are excatly like dolphins or not, but I couldn´t loose the oportunity to make a new creature.

One of the posibilities for the bad guy.
Not sure to make something small and almost cute or something bigger and more vicious. Probably I will try to make few design before to make the scene itself.

Finally I have found a better scene.
It will be a Art class room. I will make the art as the thread that unife all this diference civilization.
I prefer that one.

I like your Alien designs, specially this last one, and the one you have already in color, very good skills you have. :slight_smile: I will keep an eye on this, I am not a fan of the art class, but I do like your characters…

This the 1 hour work for the main alien character. He is the teacher of the class room. I have use a human standart mesh provided by Pixologic. I will have to make a retopology work after modelling.

P.S: I didn´t know that wasn´t posible to use photobucket or similar stuff, so excuse I used in the images before, won´t happen again

Few hours later.
Trying to develope much better anatomy and character. Now I´m in trying to get the “spirit” of the character. I will beging with a newone. I want to have the characters and them prepare the scene.

As I said before not sure if in the books the Neo DOlphins has the same shape than the real dolphins. Well, I wasn´t enable to loose this oportunity to make a new interesting idea came to a character.

Wow! These alien desings rock! I specially like the one with the three horns and the confused look in his face. I’m a little worried about the classroom idea though. The way its sketched, with all the aliens looking to a teacher or a proyection, is not good, cause all this wonderfully made aliens will be looking away from the camera. That would be a waste of your talent.

I’ll keep an eye on this thread!

I think your character design rocks! Can’t wait to see them textured and posed…looking to your portfolio I think your entry is going to be one of the most interesting.

You’re going fast my friend, those designs are fantastic. I agree with GaeasHerald, maybe you could put the statue we see in the sketch on the foreground, and all the characters and alien races you are creating on a second plane, that way we can see all of them as they are all looking to the artwork. If you are able to create a stunning background you’re a winner pal.
