Ladies & Gentelman! I pleased to inform you that the work is finally done.

Last days were crucial for my work: I’ve decided to let the final rendering be a very raw one and paint over it at later stage in Pshop.

So this is it. I admit my first concept which I sketched only in my mind was a different one form what worked out.
I had a few hard days getting the picture to look as I would like to see it. Finally I am quite pleased with the results.
This great painting behind the characters comes from my dear friend Viola. She agreed to let me use it in the background. Her other fantastic images any can check here .

As for the image background…

A New Day has come. The Creature rises in ultimate strength. An easy pray it was: blind desire led the men to his doom.
The history will know this moment as The Dusk of New Strength, Dawn of Men.

Many thanks to everyone who helped. In this thread every little post helped a lot as it gave me confidence, encouragement and directed onto good path.

Many other threads helped me to work this out though. I really like to watch WIPs of other entrants - You guys have so fine visions, so uncommon. It’d be a lie if I’d say none of these have inspired me. Thanks.

This reminds me of China Mieville’s ‘Perdido street station’ - there was a sub-plot involving human-alien love/sex affair, and i could imagine this image as an illustration of it. :thumbsup:

great effort.
the GI effect u tried to show is cool.
only there could be some more dust particles near the window to show the light travel.
but anyways thats a cool image.
