P.S if anyone can help. I have sent a tiff of the final image a few times now via ftp but I still don’t seem to appear on the entries page, and when I refresh it says I haven’t uploaded my finished image. If anyone can tell me exactly what I am supposed to do I would appreciate that.

thats a great illustration, there andy!. i love the chimp design, he’s so natural its as if this is a possible evolutionary outcome…Fantastic…Some crit, there could be a bit more atmospheric perspective…(easily achieved with a soft airbrush in which ever program you use)…just to get a lighter contrast for the background…and a bit more cloud work

OK. so
your artwork for the ftp for ahem “uplifting” coff…
should be
RGB
saved in TIFF format
Zipped…
then make sure your zip folder is renamed to the corresponding number given to you in the instructions
as an e.g 13456_34263930 some random number i made up…but its similar to that layout…
Otherwise experiment with other clients…I couldn’t download ftpSMART for some reason and went on to use Ace FTP 3 pro.
if its still a problem…thats when the mod comes in.

Martin, thanks. Yes I found my backstory hard because there wasn’t really a story to the piece and I think it looked very cliched so the sbackstory ended up cliched and boring too haha. Glad you like it though.

The Scouts headed out to find a new home for the three races. Their nomad way of life was coming to an end and the city beckoned. Who knew what fortunes or misfortunes the humans lives would take once they arrived. The dolphins would be sold and the apes would become servants in the hustle and bustle.
Sorry that was really bad! Anyway I think I shall finish my picture here as I seem to be spending loads of time on it and I don’t think I can go anywhere else with it. I want to do other things now

Edit* I too advice and added a bit of atmosphere to the mountains to get a bit of distance. Also added my signature which I forgot! Not worth updating I suppose but I did anyway just in case.
