this is the first part of the concept.
this is the most common alien, maybe i will change the design it in the modelling stage.
the final concept is to recreate a car accident between an alien spaceship and a car.
i will post skecthes soon

this is the guy involved in the car/spaceship accident.
the idea comes from my real car that have a hurt in the rear part since 2004. all the image will have a cartoon look.

this is the last character of the scene, the cop that came to verify what happened

this is the last sketch; it fix the scene with the main characters and the position of vehicles. the police-alien is missing, i don’t really know if i will model him. i don’t still know how will be my car.
now begin the modelling part

the green alien match my blueprints and concept. neck and arms are missing.

here is the model of the alien all done in XSI in 4 days. i didn’t know the power of XSI and the learning curve is very low.
i don’t know if is better add 2 more extra arms to the alien…uhmmmm

This is a very fun idea, i like it. For some reason it brought to mind Marvin the martian. :smiley: I know it doesnt really look anything like Marvin but…perhaps its just the style lol.

You could use the extra arms when it is in the UFO - spread out along all the controls, making it look like you need 4 arms to drive it. I like the policeman - how it’s kind of like a creature vechicle :slight_smile: Good work so far!

Love the aliens they are so cute :slight_smile: looks lke you are getting the hang of XSI fairly well, I have been fighting with it myself and not having much luck so far.

yes robomojo, the extra arm are for the complex comand of the alien spaceship:)

me too remember Marvin…maybe the big head and little body. also big round eyes could remember it:)

for the police hat: yes, the london bobbies hat should fit better:thumbsup:

these are the policeliens. maybe i will put 2 policelien that are arguing on what to do, while the green alien and the human are wachting their vehicles. the policeliens are different: one is smaller and fat, the other one taller.
I am in trouble with the eyes of the aliens: I’ve got some problems in the meshflow for the orbit of the eyes accordng to my first reference (6 eyes per alien)

edit: i also build an interior “tube” to simulate the stomach. I want to put some donut or other stuff to show the transparent nature of this kind of aliens:)
