i think i´m going with a topic where a human spaceship was shot out of orbit and crashlanded on strange planet… the bad guys which shot them are now on the planet too to complete their work to kill the last beings on that ship…

Here´s a quick color concept… still playing with the mood… though its a dangerous situation i wanted to have something like a romantic space opera like color scheme.

Nice picture Mr Raybender.
I like the staging.
I would prefer to make the Aliens on the ground more dangerous. Not a single guy with a shotgunlaser. More something like a huge Flakrobot or something with more massiv weapons to have the shooting power to shoot the ship down. Or to have more combination of lightweight troops in the foreground an the bigger stuff in the smoke in the background. And Maybe the shotdown ship could have a higher degree how it`s sticking in the ground, more like the titanic in her last stage. Just an idea.
But your on a good way

I prefer it the way it is now. It gives the poor human a fighting chance. The picture is looking great so far. I like the way the flash of the gun brings more attention to the human.

It would be cool to see a couple more creatures coming over the downed ship. That way you know he’s in trouble. Fantastic color scheme by the way.

im currently thinking about redoing it completely… im not happy with colors and perspective/composition… somehow i had something different in mind when i started it.

but i think will stick with the main topic…

I think you have good reasons to redo all your work. For my part your pict were really nice, and colors you added since my last post are well balanced, and give an atmosphere that match nicely with subject.

You should keep this stuff and go on with it, But it’s just my 2cts.

I must say, that I can’t see any problems with the composition or colors. I think you should reconsider your decision. I like your work so far :slight_smile:
