updating preferances

i would like to use my preferances from an older version of wings on the newest release…how can i do so?

i want to know too , i have ever use the previous version , and copy the old preference in to the new install directory , but nothing happen , I’m don’t sure what file to copy and where to put it in…
how can i do?

Documents and Settings\user name\Application Data\Wings3D\Preferences.txt

Overwrite it with your old Preferences.txt!

you can also open up windows explorer and in the address bar type in:

%appdata%

select wings3d and you will see the preferences file there.

saves you a lot of time when navigating through the folders.

i was aware of this…but the .19 release seams to not recognize or even use the preferences.txt in th wings3d\ directory

has it moved in the newer releases?
