Updated Base Mesh with UVs

I’ve been sculpting away on a head model in Mudbox, and now I want to layout UVs. Is it possible to layout UVs for the low res base mesh and then reimport it back into Mudbox, all while keeping the rest of the subdivision layers intact?

I don’t want to layout UVs on my highest subdiv level, but I also need to keep that detail after the UVs have been finished. Is there a way I can simply update the base mesh to keep my sculpting layers?

File -> import uvs

somehow i tried to import uvs the other day that i saved from max and it didnt work, i had to export a fbx file then import that inorder to get in the uvs
