Unwrap UVW and work on the texture in real world centimeters


Hello CGSociety,

Everything really is said in the title. I don’t know how to unwrap my 3D model under 3ds max and make sure I’m able to work and draw on it with real world measures and splines instead of having to deal with pixels.

I’m working on pretty simply geometry this time around but it won’t always be the case. I need a way to be able to draw precise lines on the map.

Does such a way exist ?
