Undead warrior

I really like what you have going on in the neck area. Lots of detail. One crit, the characters ribs. You have his ribs start narrow, then flair out, then narrow up as they go to the clav. In reality though, the widest point of the rib cage, is the very bottom, then they narrow as they go up. Fix that, and you’ve got a winner.

hmmm… as i expected, from the beginning when i saw the first “sketches”, this work is gonna’ rock! man, i’m giving a serious thought of leaving 3d!
i’m still waiting for further updates and after u finish it i hope u’ll give me a high-res pic to put it on my desktop!

good luck & be inspired!

“I want to have a screamy look and I think that’s the long neck help to have it”

ahh,I got it. In my opinion, you can both pull down the shoulder a little bit to make it have a screamy look.

#62

Sorry for being long guys but I don’t have free time lately… but I’m still on it

@ Trep : thx

@ Quendal : actually I agree with about that but I realize that this part will be mostly hide so…

@ creAtoru’ : thanks man , lol no problem but I hope I will finish it and soon …

@ wang4wang : right , I’ll try that…

#63

wow, I was viewing this from page 1, looks bloody ceepy, I too can’t wait for the texture on it

can I ask, is it a dead man, or dead woman, don’t you think his ears is a little alive anyway, I like the way you handled the chest and stomach area, really creppy,

keep up man, impress us mooooooreee

#64

very very impressive
but sorry i agree with one above
that i don’t really like the hair
other than that it’s a high quality…

#65

hey!!! i’m still waiting…

you’ve promissed me that you’ll finish it!

#66

Looks sick! You’re a great modeller !

#67

It is a good model, although it is an undead, it is still very unique. However, I think the torso and arms have a bit to be desired. I would try adding some deterioratiion/bumps/buldging/or sinking into parts of his body. If you are comfortable with Zbrush, then it could really take this model to a new level. Again, great work, can’t wait to see it finished.

Hey Thx to all for the support but there is something funny about how some threads are obviously more interesting and popular… I haven’t update this one for a long time but he still has replys but my last one nothing at all… that’s weird…

Anyway …

@ MWarsame: I would say that is a dead man but not sure :scream: and I’m ok with you for the ear but I will rearrange that with the texture

@ Inspectre: You don’t have to be sorry , if you don’t like the hair that’s your call but as I say before , I’m planning to change it so I hope it will be better.

@ creAtoru’ : Thx a lot man for the support , I’ve started a new character but If I’m referring to the feedbacks number I should better continue this one. You convince me ok ,I will start the texture soon thank you for still following this

@ m0rdoc : Thx

@OGRE EX : Your are absolutely right for the details but for some reasons I can’t use zbrush so I will try to detail that with bump and texture…

#69

I just watched 28 Days Later…

So I have my baseball bat ready for this guy. Great work there.

#70

J’aime bcp ce que tu as fait

Your hair are very good ; how do you make them ?

#71

I like the hair…I’m not feelin’ the teeth though. Just a design flaw, the modelling is good. They’re too even.

*Woa, I can’t believe that you find that thread , it’s been soo long that I didn’t touch it. Hairs are opacity maps like Polly the newest work I made. I’m not really familiar with dynamics yet plus I was going for a still picture so… The technic is pretty simple and pretty easy to work on the haircut, I like that technic. Thanks for the compliment and if you want to know more about it…

@ Squash-n-Stretch : Thanks , the wip is pretty old now and I’m not planning work on that soon but one day maybe I will try to finish it…

I don’t think to ask you the fatidic question… : do you planed to finish it ?

When I see all your progress with the Spectacular Challenge, I prefer waiting your next project… keep it up my friend

But in any case… I can appreciate here the originality of the design…

#76

Hahahah :scream:

Welcome in my “trash” thread Laurent.
No I didn’t planned to do more on this right now.
I’ve got some ideas for another personnal project , a bit more peotic than this one  .

Consider this one more like a modeling exercise…

But thx a lot for dropping by here…maybe I’ll continue if one day I’m in a very very bad mood:scream:
