This is the final update before submission hits. I considere this finished enough for submission. I’ve added a spec and bump map. Also tweaked the texture a bit more and added blood and hair. Will do some final tweaking in the last days.

Something that struck me just now though… the teeth could use a little better readability - right now they sort of blend in with the other white-ish material on the top. Maybe something more flesh coloured just around each tooth root (simply cannot be valid english, but I hope you understand what I mean)

hey supervlieg this eh…thing is just :thumbsup:
i think you gonna go for winner with it. the design is great, the idea is great.
perhaps you have some kind of engine, where you can put it in, to see how it fits in a game environment? (from other projects perhaps?) also a short “feeding”-animation would be a blast!

:slight_smile: Hey Supervlieg thats what I had planned to do also, But iam using the ogre3D engine which is real simple and has material scripts and lets you use real-time shaders as well. Maybe you should give that one a try if you know some Coding.

Migusan: Thanks, I suck at coding though. I’ve been trying to get it into virtools, but sadly the spec and bump dont show up there. So I’ll have to keep looking. Maybe I’ll just do a quicktime movie.

Supervlieg: Yea that is the only sucky thing is that you need to know some coding, But Iam not sure I’ve ever seen any openSource engine out there that was just drop you model and shaders with out some kind of coding to it. But if you find something like that let me know :slight_smile:
