I’ve begun modelling, and I actually am modelling it with the ability to open up… Although if this gets frustrating, I may scrap the whole thing and just concentrate on making a nice pretty ‘static’ one…
I’ve decided to do the eyes and keyhole with texturing and bump mapping, but I may change that in the future…
This is still very rough, Probably about an hour or two’s work into this so far…
I’ve included the model info in the images but, (being unused to modelling with the intent of putting it in a game), I can’t tell which would be the equivilent of triangles, so I don’t know how many I have so far…
Are edges and triangles the same thing in Maya?

Edit: Looking at my own pics, I realize I made the body really too wide… I’m gonna narrow him up a bit and stretch out his forehead, more…
EDIT2: I went in and fixed that and I also realized I had about 20 extraneous vertices left over from when I went on an edge-deleting spree…
