some ideas i had while looking at your model
you can just paint the biohazzard symbol on the lowpoly version, to save some triangles. to me it looks like something from SystemShock game. its probably one of those substances used to make men into mutants.
i see it with a transparend tube half filled with some green sustance.

dont worry, things like the logo wont be modeled on the low

if you mean what i think you mean, you can apply a UNWRAP UVW to create a 2d map of your thingy. more than that i don’t know. i’m learning as i go

I could of swore that someone mentioned the tools to use to do this somewhere in this challenge. I think it was in JamesMK’s thread, but I’m not sure. Look around, you’ll find it. I am really eager to see how this will turn out in lowpoly.

I think the latest pic is low poly. It looks good far, though its gonna need a little bit of color to make it spring to life. Waiting for an update!
yeah that’s right ( Supervlieg comment ) but I ment low poly wires, we could give you some tips, this should go under 1000 no problem.
PS: again looking great
