Well I’ve seen almost all of the concept art and I even came up with one for myself. It totally differs from the rest, but I hope you like it:
the sphere is going to be transparent I guess… not 100% sure about the textures and stuff.

just thought i’d say i really like this concept, reminds me of final fantasy crystal chronicles. very original, just add some details, like they already said 
I like it very much! Leaves and branches would be cool, and I think it could be even cooler if they would encircle the sphere, like holding it a bit tighter or somethin like that Keep up the good work
Very nice. Did you know that a tree branch never gets thinner? It stays the same thickness until it splits into more branches. Just someting to keep in mind.
Also i would rotate those “rings” of the wireframe (on the branch), it might give you a more consistent curve. Unless you have the shape you want like that.
