Hi! I always want to do these. Now I am determined to do so. My idea is for an armor breastplate that the jungle gods have provided to the player. I wanted the look to feel like vines twisting into the form of armour. I want to maybe do a helmet and weapon, but that’s for another day. Hope you like what I have so far. I feel like I can’t compete because I don’t know the first thing about normal mapping. So if you can turn me onto a good tutorial for that, that’d be great.
I’ll be pushing the textures as far as I can (Bump, specular, and alpha)

And my progress modelling. This is only 900 tris because I want to use the last 100 for leaves or moss (with Apha maps applied).
