A quick sketch to get into the feeling. Im leaning towards some kind of scorpion at the moment. It will probably have some kind of armament later on.

Okay, its been awhile, but the bug is still bugging me. I’ve sort of finalized my concept. Here is is. Ive also made a start at the mesh, and will post if it’s at all worthy.

This thing is some sort of scorpion/beetle/lobster/gotti bug.

Sorry guys, between moving and an upcoming holiday (japan, woohoo) I dont think I’ll find time to finish this properly. Ill be back for the next one fer sure. I might even finish this one outside competition time.
